Getting started
FinderlyFix (or just Finderly) is an AI home repair assistant. You take a photo of a home problem, it tells you what's wrong, what it should cost to fix locally, and what parts you'll need, then walks you through fixing it yourself or connects you with a vetted contractor nearby.
Three steps: scan, identify, fix or hire. You snap a photo or short video of the issue, Finderly identifies the problem and estimates the cost and parts, and then you either follow the step-by-step DIY checklist or tap Call Now to reach a pro.
Open the web app at app.finderlyfix.com, take or upload a photo or short video of the problem, and Finderly does the rest. There's nothing to install.
Homeowners can use FinderlyFix today at no charge, including photo diagnosis, cost estimates, DIY guidance and Call Now routing. A premium tier called DIY+ is planned for the future, but there's no pricing to announce yet.
FinderlyFix is built by AI Vision Technologies, Inc., based in Austin, Texas.
Diagnosis & cost estimates
Common household issues across plumbing, HVAC, electrical, water damage and mold, and general repair, things like a leak under the sink, a tripped breaker box, or a cracked tile. If a photo can show it, Finderly can usually take a first pass at it.
The AI is trained on real repair data and gives you a well-informed starting point, but every diagnosis and cost estimate is an AI-generated estimate, not a guarantee. For anything expensive, dangerous, or uncertain, confirm with a licensed professional before you act.
Get close enough that the problem is clearly visible and well lit, and include a bit of the surrounding area for context. A short video helps for anything that moves, drips, or makes noise.
Finderly estimates what the repair should cost in your local area based on the diagnosis and real repair data. Treat it as a ballpark to help you decide between DIY and hiring, not a quote.
Try another photo from a different angle or with better lighting, or add a short video. If it's still unclear, use Call Now to talk to a pro who can take a look.
DIY guidance & parts
A step-by-step checklist for the specific repair Finderly identified, plus a list of the parts you'll need. It's written for regular homeowners, not tradespeople.
Every diagnosis generates a parts list that links to the right products on Amazon or Home Depot. You buy directly from those retailers; Finderly earns a small referral fee at no cost to you.
The guidance is informational, so use your judgment. If a job involves gas, main electrical panels, structural elements, or anything you're not comfortable with, hire a licensed pro instead. Finderly makes it one tap to do so.
You can go back to your diagnosis and tap Call Now to connect with a contractor at any point. There's no penalty for switching from DIY to hiring.
Hiring a pro
After a diagnosis, tap Call Now and Finderly routes you instantly to a vetted contractor near you who handles that type of work. Because the problem is already diagnosed, the pro knows the scope before you're even on the phone.
Contractors on Finderly must hold a valid trade license and carry general liability insurance. We're onboarding early partners carefully rather than listing everyone.
HVAC, plumbing, water damage and mold, electrical, and general repair. Availability depends on which vetted contractors are active in your area.
No. Connecting through Call Now is free for homeowners. You pay the contractor directly for whatever work you agree to with them.
For contractors
Diagnosed, high-intent calls. The homeowner has already photographed the problem and received a diagnosis and cost estimate, so the scope is confirmed before you pick up the phone.
A valid trade license and general liability insurance. We currently work with HVAC, plumbing, water and mold, electrical, and general repair contractors.
We're onboarding early partners now. Email us with your trade, service area, and license details and we'll get back to you.
The Finderly Pro contractor platform is in development. Early partners receive leads through Call Now routing today and will get access to Finderly Pro as it rolls out.
Privacy, safety & legal
Your photos and videos are used to produce your diagnosis. See our Privacy Policy for the full details on how we handle your data.
If you smell gas, see an electrical fire, notice structural danger, or face any other immediate hazard, do not use the app; call emergency services or a licensed professional right away. Finderly is for diagnosis and guidance, not emergency response.
No. Diagnoses, DIY steps, and cost estimates are AI-generated and informational. They're not a substitute for a licensed professional's judgment, and results can vary.
Both are on app.finderlyfix.com: the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service. Links are also at the bottom of this page.
